Friends of Newcastle Performing Arts Centre
This is an independent voluntary organisation that supports the music groups that run at the Seabridge Community Centre on Saturday mornings. This web page keeps you up to date with what is happening - dates, times, concerts, refreshment rota, and so on.

Please arrive in plenty of time for your rehearsal, especially string players who need time to tune instruments. We must stick to the schedule and not overrun the allotted time. The concert starts at 7pm promptly, so those rehearsing after 5pm please bring your concert dress (white shirt/blouse, dark trousers/skirt, music centre tie, and NO TRAINERS) and tea with you, and stay in the hall (backstage) after the rehearsal. When it is your turn to play, please listen carefully to any instructions you are given, and move quickly and quietly to your places. For the massed item, either play from your seat, or use any available gaps on the stage.
Tickets will be on sale on the day from 6pm, in the Victoria Hall foyer. Prices for Upper Circle and Stalls are £4 (free for very young children). All Circle tickets are sold. If anybody requires a wheelchair, please book a ticket directly from the Regent Theatre box office in advance on 0800 060 6649.

The Friends are always in need of volunteers for help with refreshments on Saturday mornings, and for help at concerts. If you are able to help at all, please contact Simon Rayner (01782 628997).
